From Rishikesh to the ashram, it takes about 40 minutes by taxi at around INR 1000 - 1500. Uber is not very common in Rishikesh, so hiring a regular taxi is recommended.
A tip:
International flights usually allow 20–30 kg of luggage (1–2 pieces), but domestic flights within India typically include only 7 kg of carry-on baggage in the standard fare. Any excess baggage will incur additional charges, which may cost more than your flight ticket. If you’re traveling by air, we recommend minimizing your luggage to avoid these extra fees.

If you prefer to travel by land, it will take approximately 5–8 hours from Delhi Airport to the ashram, depending on traffic conditions. We do NOT highly recommend taking the land route after 3:00 PM unless you are traveling with locals or are very familiar with India.

The cost for a one-way trip is typically around INR 8,000–15,000.

The cost for a one-way trip is typically around INR 8,000–15,000. It is advisable to arrange a hired car through a trusted travel agency rather than relying on an airport taxi.
We do not recommend taking land routes on March 14 and 15. During this time, people often throw water or colored powders on the streets, which can lead to disruptions. Additionally, many roads may be blocked due to heavy traffic jams.
